Narmada- The Patchwork Artisan

Narmada Ben, a talented artisan of Khakhikrupa Hastshilp Producer Company Limited, brings life to colourful fabrics through her skilled applique and patchwork work inspired by the rich craft of Udaipur. She begins her day surrounded by bright cloth pieces, mirrors, and threads, carefully collecting and stitching them into beautiful motifs of peacocks, flowers, camels, and traditional patterns. Just like Udaipur’s patchwork craft, her work reuses leftover fabric, turning simple scraps into striking designs full of colour and culture. Every stitch she makes reflects patience, imagination, and the heritage of Rajasthan. Through her artistry, Narmada Ben not only supports her family but also motivates other women to learn this sustainable craft, preserving handmade traditions with pride and creativity.

What We Do

Art Metalwork

Elegant and eco-conscious, our metal art combines traditional casting and engraving techniques using recycled metals like brass and copper to produce functional and decorative pieces that embody heritage with a modern twist.

Patchwork & Appliqué Textiles

Crafted by women artisans from Udaipur’s tribal belts, our patchwork pieces are vibrant narratives of color, sustainability, and heritage. Every quilt, bag, or wall hanging tells a story through stitches and recycled fabric.

Imitation Jewellery

Inspired by royal and folk designs of Rajasthan, our imitation jewellery is affordable, elegant, and ethically made. Each piece reflects the fusion of ancient motifs and contemporary fashion, making heritage wearable for all.

Vision And Mission

Our mission is not just to showcase beautiful handcrafted products but to empower the hands behind the craft — especially women and marginalized artisans — by providing them with sustainable livelihoods, modern design training, and access to global markets. To build a self-sustaining ecosystem where traditional artisans are celebrated, empowered, and connected to the world — turning age-old skills into livelihoods and craft into culture-driven commerce.
